ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, April 11. Production of oil and other liquid hydrocarbons in Turkmenistan is expected to average 0.27 million barrels per day in 2024, Trend reports.
According to the estimations made by the US Energy Information Administration (EIA), the prospects for oil production in the country remain in line with the previous report.
The EIA anticipates a stable production volume of 0.27 million barrels per day for oil and liquid hydrocarbons in Turkmenistan in 2025.
At the same time, the report emphasizes that oil production in Turkmenistan in 2023 also reached 0.27 million barrels per day.
Meanwhile, data from the Turkmengaz State Concern shows that the country's hydrocarbon resources are estimated at more than 71 billion tons of oil equivalent.
This volume includes more than 20 billion tons of oil and more than 50 trillion cubic meters of natural gas.
