BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 11. Azerbaijan exported 9.9 million tons of oil (including condensate) from January through May 2024, compared to 10.6 million tons in the same period in 2023, the data of Azerbaijan's Energy Ministry said, Trend reports.
Out of the mentioned volume, 8.6 million tons are the consortium's share (on the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli block), while 1.3 million tons are SOCAR's share.
Meanwhile, the consortium exported 9.5 million tons of oil from January through May 2023, while SOCAR exported 1.1 million tons.
To note, Azerbaijan exported about 26 million tons of oil with condensate in 2023.
