OXFORD, UK, July 18. Serbia is interested in discussing energy issues with Azerbaijan, President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic told reporters on the sidelines of the 4th meeting of the European Political Community (EPC) in the UK, Trend reports.
“We are going to be more and more interested in discussing all the issues regarding energy cooperation, not just with Azerbaijan, but with all the others in the region as well. There are more issues to deal with,” he said.
The 4th meeting of the European Political Community (EPC) is underway in Blenheim Palace in Oxford, UK.
According to the European Council, some 47 heads of state and government are invited to take part in this EPC meeting.
The leaders are discussing continued support for Ukraine as well as shared challenges. The roundtable meetings cover topics including migration, energy, connectivity, defense, and the safeguarding of democracy.
The European Political Community aims to foster political dialogue and cooperation to address issues of common interest and strengthen the security, stability, and prosperity of the European continent.
At the first meeting in October 2022, leaders discussed peace and security issues, the Russia-Ukraine war, and the energy crisis. At the following meeting in June 2023, they discussed joint efforts for peace and security, energy resilience, connectivity, and mobility in Europe. In Granada in October 2023, leaders discussed how to make Europe more resilient, prosperous, and geostrategic.
