The Ministry of Economic Development (MED) submitted the investments programs
of the Barmek Azerbaijan, the operator of the energy distribution networks of Baku and Sumgayit, and Bayva Enerji, the operator of the energy distribution networks Bayva Gerbenerji and Bayva Jenubenerji, to the Industry and Energy Ministry (IEM), the MED told Trend.
“The IED has not presented its references, but they have some technical claims. The final option of the document will be developed after the consideration of the claims,” the Minsitry noted.
The investment programs cover the development of the electricity network for 2005-2006. The programs reflect the current state of the electricity networks, their development ways, the volume of the envisaged work, investments. “Our goal is to approve the programs urgently in order to start the work,” the Ministry said.
