Official ceremony of presentation of an area allocated for the German company Siemens for the construction of a 506MW gas-steam device in Sumgayit Power Station, Azerenerji Joint Stock Company told Trend. According to
Vugar Shahmuradov, the Director of the Power Station, the procedure actually sets up the major contract, which reflects the amount and schedule of construction work, testing and commissioning of the facility.
Atneding the ceremony were the managements of Azerenerji and Siemens, a general contractor of the project. George Vin, an expert of the German company, arrived in Sumgayit to Baku to sign the documents.
The foundation of the new construction has been laid and the ground floor of the administrative building of the new gas-steam device is complete.
