The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) plans to announce on 19 December the result of a tender on sale of diesel fuel through the Georgian ports of Poti and Batumi, Trend reports.
The tender was announced on the sale of some 100,000 tons of diesel fuel with the FOB delivery terms from Poti and Batumi.
According to an official of SOCAR, oil product manufactured at the Heydar Aliyev oil refinery plant (ORP) will be shipped in January to June 2006.
At present the SOCAR do not plan to announce a tender on sale of aviation kerosene in connection with the rise of demand for this product by AZAL state company.
In January to November the Marketing and Economic Operations Department (MEOD) of the SOCAR exported around 410,000 tons of diesel fuel from the Heydar Aliyev ORP.
