In 2006 AIOC plans produce about 22m tons of Azeri Light oil FROM ACG

In 2006 the Azerbaijan International operating Company (AIOC) plans to produce 21.95m tons of Azeri Light oil from the on-shore block Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli, David Woodward, the head of BP Azerbaijan, said to a news conference on Wednesday, Trend reports.

According to Woodward, condensate production from the Shah-Deniz oil field will also grow 19,000 barrel per day. Thus, the total production within the two projects led by BP in Azerbaijan will make up 22.9m tons or 458,000 tons per day.

Woodward said that in 2006 the total costs on the projects Azeri-Chirag-Guneshly, Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan and Shah-Deniz were planned to comprise $4.058bn against forecasted $5.297bn for 2005.
