The work on establishment of trade union committees is carried out at the companies Azfen and Technip. The employees of the companies get familiar with the functions and liabilities of the Republican Committee of Trade Unions of Oil and Gas Industry Employees (RCTUOGIE), the Committee told Trend.
“The committees are possible to be established at the companies soon,” the Committee underlined.
Besides, trade union committee will be founded at McDermott and the Azerbaijani Confederation of Trade Unions will hold a conference in this regard with participation of representatives of law-defender organizations and McDermott on 24 December.
Similar committees have been established at such foreign companies as Shirvan Oil, Salyan Oil, Azgerneft, Anshad Petrol, LUKOIL Azerbaijan and Bosshelf.
Increase of interest in the issue is related to the recent strike of the local workers of McDermott and Bosshelf.
