The State oil company president, Rovnag Abdullayev has met with the Polish economy minister, Petr Voznjak who was on visit in Baku, SOCAR told Trend.
According to the polish minister, Azerbaijan becomes very interesting as an alternative energy source. There are deep ties between the Azerbaijani and polish oil sectors, he said.
There are huge opportunities for cooperation between SOCAR and the large polish oil companies, the minister suggested.
Abdullayev agreed to the offer saying that SOCAR is ready to discuss the joint projects with polish oil companies. The Odessa- Broda pipeline project and onshore fields of Azerbaijan have also been discussed at the meeting.
