This year SOCAR is going to perform repairs on two ELOU AVT units, with total capacity 6mln ton of oil a year. These units are located at Azneftyag Oil Refinery and Oil Refinery named after H.Aliyev, Trend reports quoting Davud Mammadov, vice-president for refining, SOCAR.
In 2006-2007, he said, an overhaul will be performed at Oil Refinery named after H.Aliyev. This year a chemical contact column will be erected at Azneftyag Oil Refinery.
At present all operations are performed under the development program for the years 2005-2008. However, SOCAR already drew the Oil Refineries Development Program for years 2008-2013. This program is currently being examined by the government and its approval is close.
