Salyan Oil Limited completed drilling one out of two production wells at onshore field Kursangi-Gababagli, the company officials told Trend. The well drilled is some 3,500m deep.
The company representatives said at the moment second production well is being drilled to some 4,000m. В"3,700m have already been drilledВ", - SOL officials said.
At present the company is purchasing land from locals residing by the contract area as third production well is drilled on their lands.
In 2006, 8 wells will be drilled on the contract area. Four wells are planned for production, two for water injection, one for exploration and one for estimation. Scheduled investments amount some $50mln. Drilling operations are performed by Great Wall Drilling of China.
