During January-May 2006, 1.6mt of oil products have been sold in internal market of Azerbaijan, down 19% over year, State Statistics Committee officials told Trend.
From the total amount of oil products, 246.8kt fell for gasoline, up 10.3% over year. Wholesale price of Рђ-92 gasoline in internal market (VAT and transportation costs inclusive) is AZN 432.30, Рђ-96 - AZN 484.70.
In January-May 2006 Azpetrol reportedly acquired 132.03KT of gasoline for sale, LUKoil 50.6KT. Both the companies operate gas stations network throughout the country.
Diesel fuel sold in January-May totaled 266.9KT, down 10.5% over year. Wholesale price of 1 ton of diesel fuel is 397.46 AZN (VAT inclusive). In January-May 2006 Azpetrol reportedly acquired 105.7 KT of diesel for sale, LUKoil 31.2 KT and Caspian Marine Line 9.6kt С'ыс. The latter also purchased all petrol nearly 27.3kt, as well as 0.7kt of engine oil.
The greatest deal fell for fuel oil. In January-May 787.9KT of fuel oil have been sold, up 31.4% over year. Wholesale price of 1 ton of fuel oil Рњ-40 is AZN 77.88 (VAT inclusive). During first five months Azenerji JSC received 585.4KT of fuel oil and Oil refinery named after H. Aliyev 152.8 KT.
Kerosene sold totaled 214.3kt, down 5.6% over year. Wholesale price of 1 ton of this fuel (VAT and transportation costs inclusive) is AZN 411.68. SC AZAL reportedly received 195.8kt of this fuel during January-May.
Sold petroleum bitumen totaled 36.5kt, up 80.3% over year. Wholesale price of 1 ton of bitumen BN 60/90 (VAT and transportation costs inclusive) is AZN 108.90.
