BP expects shipment of second tanker in Ceyhan Wed

The second tanker with oil transported via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) main export pipeline is to leave the Turkish port Ceyhan on 21 June, Р'Р  Azerbaijan, an operator of BTC Co . told Trend. This tanker belongs to Р'Р  and the Turkish company TPAO.

The second tanker contains over 600,000 barrels. The tanker with 85,000 tons has been loaded and is to be delivered on Wednesday (21 June).

The third batch with 600,000 barrels of oil, which belong to Statoil, will be delivered by the end of June.

At present over 200,000 barrels of oil a day is pumped via the pipeline. From July the volume will be increased to 300,000 barrels and the delivery of tankers will become intensive, the company said.
