Operator of Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline stopped the transportation of oil through Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline, Trend reports with reference to BP Azerbaijan. It is related to several works on the pipeline. Right after this, the pipeline will be put into operation in previous regime.
After completion of these works, the transportation will raise to 300 thousand barrels a day. After such volume of oil is transported through the pipeline, a schedule will be defined for the shipment of tankers.
Up to the stop, around 200 thousand barrels of oil were transported through the pipeline a day.
