Salyan Oil Limited held a session of its steering committee, company officials told Trend. At this meeting shareholders examined the totals of operations for the first half-year, as well as efficient spending of the budget and plans for the second half-year.
Salyan Oil budget-2006 amounts some $50mln. Its general drilling contractor is Great Wall of China. One more session of steering committee will take place in October 2006 with approving the budget-2007.
In 2006, 8 wells will be drilled on the contract area. Four wells are planned for production, two for water injection, one for exploration and one for estimation.
