Within the framework of construction of a medical diagnostic centers in the region of the country the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) to spend 36.5m AZN, Trend reports citing Khalg Gazeti newspaper, the deputy head of Azneft production association, Agasaf Aliyev.
The construction of the center in Lankaran district, south Azerbaijan, is complete. The similar centers will be built in Alibayramli, Gazakh, Ganja, Barda, Zakatala, Gabala and Guba regions and be commissioned in 2007.
According to the SOCARs official, in accordance with the presidential decree Рѕn Program of actions for intensifying the socio-economic development of Baku villages in 2006-2007, the SOCAR has been instructed in the construction and renovation of some facilities, as well as rehabilitation of automobile routes. 5,498,300 manats has been allocated for this respect.
SOCAR will also carry out several projects in the social sector. These are construction of new houses for employees, medical institutions, etc. It is planned to spend 10,295,700 AZN.
