Р'Р Azerbaijan, Shah Deniz gas condensate field operator, is planning to launch offshore pipelines and Sangachal terminal equipment testing within the project, Trend reports with reference to BP. Upon completion of these operations the SCP pressure test in Georgia will resume.
At the moment commissioning operations on gas production platform TPG 500 are going on. All the operations are performed as per the schedule and completed by mid-September.
Platform TPG 500 is a jack-up with drilling, production and living quarters for 120 people. Its total mass is 32k ton (topsides 22k ton and substructure 10k ton).
Following the installation, offshore pipelines have been cleaned up and tested. During August the water will be pumped out of the pipeline using ACG petroleum gas to enable receiving first gas from Shah Deniz in September.
