Launching the activities of Khachmaz Module Electric Power Station is scheduled for 20 October 2006, Trend reports with reference to the press service of Azerenerji JSC. At present 95% of the construction works for building the substation have been implemented in the station.
All transformers, disconnectors, switchers and other equipments have been installed in 100 kVt substation.
In addition, the construction of the module electric power station is continuing. Testing five generators with a capacity of 8.7 mVt is carried out. Special attention is paid to the construction of the gas pipe that will provide the station with fuel. The length of the stretch constructed from North-South gas pipe is 4 km long. All work will be completed in the first part of October.
