The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan informed Trend that over January to September 2006 Gazexport of Russia (Gazprom РћРђРћ subsidiary) delivered 3,309,5bn cu m of gas.
The average of 12.2mln m3 of gas were delivered a day. During 9 months of 2005, Gazexport delivered 3,486bn m3 of gas to Azerbaijan.
In September 2006 the company delivered 324 million cu m of gas to Azerbaijan as compared to 24.2 million in 2005. In October it is planned to purchase 372 million cu m of gas (12 million cu m of gas a day).
This year SOCAR plans to purchase a total of 4.5bn m3 of gas from Gazexport for $110 per 1k m3. The gas is delivered to the country via Shirvanovka-Kazimagomed pipeline.
