In January to September 2006 the oil and gas producing units of Azneft have produced 3,032,719 cu. m. of gas, Trend reports.
The largest gas volume has been lifted by 28 May OGPU, which is involved in the development of Gunashli field. It holds the major volume of oil and gas of SOCAR. In January to September 2006 1, 996,338 cu.m. of gas was lifted.
The least amount of gas and oil production was observed in the Muradkhanly field, where 450,000 cu. m. of gas has been produced in January to August 2006.
Despite, SOCAR's success at maintaining their target of the existing volumes in the gas production, they are keen to supersede this by the drilling of new wells, as well as the collection of higher gas pressure.
