The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) announced as of 1 October a total of 32 tankers with Azeri Light oil have been shipped via the Baku-Tbilisi Ceyhan main export oil pipeline, Trend reports.
In September 2006 a total of 1,146,000 tons of oil was exported. In January to September 2006 BTC has exported 3,519,900 tons of oil.
In January to September 2006 the Azerbaijani International Operating Company (AIOC), which is developing the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli fields (ACG) exported 14,603 million tons of Azeri Light in different directions, or 7,603 million tons more than last year.
