Operating company Salyan Oil will set up drilling the 5th production well in the Kursangi-Garabaghly field onshore field early November 2006, the company advised Trend. The relevant work will be completed by the end of 2006.
Previously Salyan Oil Company concluded the drilling of the 4th well with the depth of 3,744 m.
The company did not rule out that, due to problems during the work process, they may drill 5 wells instead of 8 as was scheduled earlier.
