SOCAR Sets Up Construction of a New Pipeline

The pipe-laying vessel Suleyman Vezirov has launched the construction of a subsea gas pipeline for collection of associated gas. The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan informed Trend that the 7km-long pipeline will be built from Site 1077 to Site 1304, where the sea depth ranges 12-26 meters.

The project was ordered by the oil production unit Oil Rocks and the contractor is Caspian Sea oil and Gas Construction. The head of the Unit for Caspian Investing, Agasaf Aliyev, said that the work could be complete in 15-20 days if there is favorable weather conditions allow. The vessel will lay around 1km a day.
