The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) closed a tender on the shipment of 1 mln. barrels of Azerbaijani Oil AzeriLight (135,000 tons). The Norwegian trader Statoil won the bid. Cargo will be shipped in the Georgian port of Supsa on 1112 November 2006, Trend reports.
The previous two cargos of Azerbaijan, in the volume of 80,000 and 135,000 barrels of oil, were purchased by Addax Company. In May 2006, Mitsubishi bought a cargo of 135 tons of oil from Supsa.
