A necessity emerged to hold the trilateral meeting of the Energy Ministers of Turkey, Georgia and Azerbaijan on the realization of Shah Deniz project, the Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Hilmi Gular briefed the media on 21 November, Trend reports.
According to him, although the agreement on the realization of Shah Deniz project has not sustained amendments, Georgia and Azerbaijan announced the increase of the internal demand for blue fuel.
Presently they (Georgia and Azerbaijan Trend) are holding talks with Russia and us, Gular said, adding that he will hold negotiations with his Georgian colleague on 22 November.
At the same time, I will phone my Azerbaijani colleague and invite him to Istanbul to hold a trilateral meeting. As a result, we will decide how to act in the future, the Minister emphasized, promising to provide comprehensive information on the results of the meeting to the media.
