Daily Oil Production Debit with ACG Project Exceeds 600.000 Barrels

At present, the daily oil production debit from block of fields Azeri-Chiragh-Gunashli (ACG) exceeds 600,000 barrels, a source in Р'Р  Azerbaijan (the operator of the Azerbaijan International Operating Company (AUOC) which is developing ACG Project), informed Trend.

Up to November 28, 2006, the volume of the daily oil production from the central section of field Azeri reached 263,000 barrels, 151,400 barrels on its western section, 69,300 on the western section and 138,000 barrels from the field Chiragh.

At present, most of the oil is being piped via the main export pipeline Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC). The daily piping via the route exceeds 500,000 time to time. The volume of the piping is unstable, since work is carried out on the Turkish section of the pipeline.

The rest of the oil is being piped via the northern route Baku-Novorossiysk and carried by railway in the direction of the Georgian Sea Port of Batumi.
