In 2007 the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) plans to carry out repair work at Baku-based oil refinery plants, Trend reports. SOCAR Refinery Vice President, Davud Mammadov, informed in the 3rd and 4th quarter partial reconstruction will be implemented at the rig on initial oil refining.
Work on catalytic reforming rig will be held approximately in that period. A catalyst will be replaced in the rig, he noted.
The work will be carried in the period of low demand for mazut which is the major source for installation of a catalytic cracking major rig on petrol production.
Next year it is also planned to repair the rig on hydro-treatment of diesel fuel, SOCAR Vice President informed.
