The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) has been included in the rating of DS-100, devised by the American Magazine DinarStandard. SOCAR took 16th place in 100 positions in the rating of DS, Trend reports with reference to the statement of DinarStandard.
The first place has been taken by Saudi Arabian Oil, second - National Iranian Oil Company and third вЂ" Malaysian Petronas. The rating includes the companies that belong to the countries of the Organization of the Islamic Conference. The selection criteria was the revenues of the companies for the end of 2005. In 2005 the SOCAR produced 7,84 mln tons of oil and 4,34 bln cu.m of gas on the offshore and onshore fields of the country.
