The energy system of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic received over 118 mln. KWatt/hour of electric power, a source in Azerenerji JSC informed Trend.
In January, 2007, Araz Hydro Electric Power Station generated and supplied the energy power system of the Azerbaijan enclave with 10,271 mln. KWatt/hour of electric power. The Nakhchivan Gas Turbine Station generated 22,776 mln. KWatt/hour of electric power. The Nakhchivan Module Station generated 12,378 mln. KWatt/hour of electric energy in the first month of 2007.
The electric power supplies to the Azerbaijan enclave from Iran in January, 2007 made up 61,997 mln. KWat/hour of electric power, 10,895 mln. KWatt/hour of electric power from Turkey. On average the Nakhchivan energy system receives over 1 mln. KWatt/hour from Iran and 130,000 Kwatt/hour of electric power from Turkey.
