The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) intends to begin drilling two exploration wells in perspective onshore section of Turkan field, Trend reports quoting SOCAR.
According to the information provided by SOCAR, preparation work has already begun. One of the wells is expected to be drilled in depth of 3,400 meters and another at 4,200 meters, the same source said.
Approximate production expected in the wells in this field is expected at 40-50 tons per day. Assessment of the reserves will be held after completion of the exploration.
