Mirkazim Abbasov, Senior Engineer of the Trust, informed Trend the Caspian Sea Oil and Gas Construction Trust of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) will carry out the reconstruction of 48 pipeline to supply gas to Arkala, Zolikant-Kari, Maniani and Menoso regions in Georgia.
At present the construction of 1,200mm gas pipeline with the length of 430m in the mountainous part of Georgia. Georgia needs this pipeline to admit Georgian gas from Shah Deniz field in the Azerbaijani section of the Caspian Sea.
The project is implemented with in the framework of a render held by the Georgian Foundation Millennium Challenges'.
