Azerbaijan, Baku /corr Trend S.Aliyev / In January to February a total of 741,790 tons of oil of the State OIL Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) was transported via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan main export oil pipeline.
The Marketing and Economic Operations Departments of SOCAR announced that tankers with the deadweight of 320,000 tons of oil are unloaded from Pier 1 of the Ceyhan terminal and tankers with the deadweight of 140,000 tons from Pier 2.
In 2006 a total of 1,403mln tons of oil of the SOCAR and 6,268mln tons of oil of the Azerbaijan international Operating Company was transported via this route.
These oil batches were delivered to Italy, the United States, Israel, France, Turkey and UK.
