Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend / The German Deutsche Bank is willing to co-operate with the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) in realizing ecological projects, said the representative of the Bank's branch for Russia and CIS, Yorg Bongarts, at the meeting with the SOCAR President, Rovnak Abdullayev.
According to him, the Bank attaches great importance to ecological problems on Keota Protocol in various countries.
According to the SOCAR President, over the long oil production period in Azerbaijan, large part of the land has polluted. According to the order of the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, the SOCAR has devised a special project on clean-up of polluted lands. He stressed that the Company is interested in the experience of the Bank on ecological projects.
