Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend / The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) began operating a new well drilled on the shallow part of Guneshli field developed by the SOCAR independently, a source stated in SOCAR. The well has been drilled with Guneshli-13 platform and is operated through flush method. The well is 2600 meters in depth. The well produces 40 tons of oil and 10.000 cu.m of gas per day.
Six wells have been drilled with Guneshli-13 platform which was put into operation three years ago. They produce 352 tons of oil, 1.85 mln cu.m of gas and 173 tons of condensate.
