Georgia, Tbilisi / Trend corr N. Kirtskhalia / Georgia is temporarily suspending its export of electric energy to Azerbaijan. According to the Georgian State Electricity System, the suspension is caused by repairs in the Gardabani-500 substation linking Georgia and Azerbaijan.
An air circuit-breaker will be changed in the 300 KW transmission line of the Gardabani-500 high voltage substation between 10 and 31 August. A revision and full overall repair will be held. The air circuit-breaker has been in operation for some forty-years at this point.
