Kazakhstan, Astana /corr. Trend K.Anirova / Timur Kulibayev has been released from his position as Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board of "Kazakhstan Holding on Management of the State Assets "Samruk".
Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev's decree on this issue was published in the official press of Kazakhstan on 28 August. 40-year old Kulibayev has held this position since the beginning of 2006, practically since the establishment of the Holding.
The reasons for releasing Kulibayev have not been disclosed. Kulibayev is married to the 2nd daughter of the Head of State, Dinare.
"Samruk" was established in January 2006 by the Presidential decree in order to effectively manage the state shares of several large companies of Kazakhstan.
According to other Presidential decrees, Kanat Bozumbayev, who was heading the National Company on Management of Electricity Networks KEGOC, has been appointed as the new Chairman of the Holding. The former Head of the Executive Board of the State Holding, Sauat Minbayev, was appointed as Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources.
