Value of insurance premiums of Azerbaijan’s A-Qroup company grows

Azerbaijan’s A-Qroup insurance company, which has been successfully operating in Azerbaijan’s insurance market for more than 23 years, has revealed its financial statements for three quarters of 2018, the company said in a message Nov. 6.

For the first nine months of this year, the value of insurance revenues of the company amounted to 4,697,708.26 manats, which is by 1,299,014 manats more than in the same period of 2017, according to financial statements. Thus, the increase in premiums amounted to over 38 percent.

Traditionally, the bulk of the company’s total revenues accounted for voluntary medical insurance and amounted to 4,021,107 manats.

The value of receipts of insurance premiums on Motor Third Party Liability Insurance (MTPL) grew 2.5 times, which also demonstrates stable positive growth dynamics of A-Qroup.

For the three quarters of 2018, persons insured by A-Qroup received insurance payments worth 5,694,958.97 manats. The largest number of payments, 5,451,868.15 manats, was made on voluntary medical insurance.

On average, for the first nine months of 2018, A-Qroup pays out about 20,000 manats to its customers every day.
