Kazakhstan received over million money transfers in 2019

In January-March 2019, the total volume of money received by Kazakhstan from abroad through international transfer systems amounted to 83.4 billion tenge, Trend reports with reference to ranking.kz

“In 2018, the total volume of transactions in Kazakhstan amounted to 362 billion tenge, while the number of transactions increased by 10 percent, reaching 1.5 million. Average sum of transaction increased by 7.5 percent and amounted to 238,800 tenge,” reads the message.

“Russia is a leader in transactions to Kazakhstan (43.2 percent). Some 36 billion tenge was sent from Russia, which is 36.3 percent more than in January-March 2018. The number of transactions increased by 23.8 percent and amounted to 186,000. An average sum of the transaction from Russia amounts to 193,000 tenge (175,400 tenge in the same period of 2018),” the report said.

“Russia is closely followed by the Republic of Korea (18 percent). Some 39,300 transactions worth 15 billion tenge were performed in January-March of 2019. An average sum of the transaction amounts to 382,900 tenge (351,300 tenge in the same period of 2018),” the report said.

"Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, USA, Germany, Turkey, Tajikistan and UAE are also among the countries with largest amount of funds sent to Kazakhstan," reads the news report.
