Increase of Kazakh citizen's income exceeds 10%

The income of Kazakh households amounted to 564,000 tenge in 1Q2019, which is 10.9 percent more than in the same period of last year, Trend reports with reference to Finprom monitoring agency.

In turn, the expenditures of one household on average equaled 557,000 tenge, which is 9.7 percent more than in the same period of last year.

The main source of the income in the reporting period was paid job with indicator of 409,800 tenge or 72.6 percent of the total income. Some 352,000 tenge of this sum account for employment, whereas 57,800 tenge accounts for self-employment and entrepreneurship.

Furthermore, 131,900 tenge or 23.4 percent of total income accounts for social transfers. In turn, some 17,800 tenge accounts for support from relatives and friends, whereas 4,600 tenge accounts for other income.

The major part of expenditures volume accounts for consumer spending, i.e. 92.3 percent of total volume or 514,200 tenge, which is 8.7 percent more than in the same period of last year. Furthermore, some 270,600 tenge accounts for food items, 124,100 tenge accounts for non-food items and 119,500 tenge accounts for paid services.

In turn, some 27,500 tenge accounts for loan and debt payments, which is 4.9 percent of the total volume.

xpenditures on support of relatives and friends amounted to 14,700 tenge or 2.6 percent of the total volume. Lastly, only 597 tenge accounts for tax and other payments, which is 0.1 percent of the total volume of expenditures.
