Kazakhstan sees decrease of money transfers

The number of money transfers from Kazakhstan to other countries amounted to 223,700 transfers worth 54.175 billion tenge in June 2019, which is 1.2 percent less than during last month, Trend reports with reference to the data of National Bank of Kazakhstan.

Thus, the largest number of transfers to Kazakhstan accounts for Russia with indicators of 72,900 transfers worth over 16.957 billion tenge, which is 0.7 percent more than during last month.

It is followed by Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan with indicators of 74,500 transfers worth 14.489 billion tenge (increase of 5 percent) and 28,000 transfers worth 7.169 billion tenge (increase of 9.3 percent) respectively.

Furthermore, the number of transfers to Kazakhstan during the reporting period equaled 129,600 transfers worth over 27.215 billion tenge, which is 6.5 percent less than during last month.

Thus, the leader by money transfers to Kazakhstan is also Russia. The number of transfers from this country stood at 65,100 transfers worth 10.145 million tenge, which is 10.2 percent less than during May 2019.

It is followed by South Korea and Kyrgyzstan. Residents of these countries made 14,900 transfers worth 5.937 billion tenge (increase of 6.5 percent) and 5,300 transfers worth 2.181 billion tenge (increase of 5.6 percent) respectively.
