Liabilities of Azerbaijan’s Unicapital up by more than 1.5 times

The volume of total assets of the Azerbaijani investment company Unicapital OJSC amounted to 3.752 million manats in the balance sheet for 2018, Trend reports referring to the organization’s audit report.

The organization’s assets grew by 41.5 percent compared to the previous year. About half of the assets were comprised of funds from the main broker at 1.857 million manats (increase of 60 percent over the year). The volume of cash and cash equivalents amounted to 748,800 manats, having increased by 28.2 percent. Limited-term deposits increased more than fourfold and amounted to 673,500 manats. Investment securities amounted to 255,000 manats, having decreased by a quarter.

The receivables on commissions decreased by 4.4 times and amounted to 60,600 manats. Long-term assets amounted to 117,800 manats (increase of 55.8 percent over the year), and other assets to 40,100 manats.

The total volume of liabilities on an annualized basis increased by 52 percent and amounted to 2.716 million manats. At the same time, 93 percent of the liabilities accounted for the amounts due to customers. The volume of amounts made up 2.533 million manats (increase of 51.6 percent). Long-term liabilities amounted to 118,000 manats, and other liabilities of the company to 118,000 manats.

The total capital of the company grew by 19.6 percent and amounted to 1.037 million manats, due to an increase in retained earnings by 30 percent, up to 736,800 manats.
