TOP 10 insurance companies of Azerbaijan in terms of fees

In January-August 2019, the fees of top ten insurance companies in Azerbaijan amounted to about 422.855 million manats (90 percent of the total amount of insurance fees).

During the reported period, the ranking in terms of the volume of insurance fees was led by PASHA Life insurance company, which accounted for 31.6 percent of the fees. The company collected fees in the amount of 148.624 million manats in January-August 2019.

PASHA Insurance company with a total amount of fees worth 104.745 million manats (about 22.3 percent of all fees) ranked second, while AzerInsurance ranked third with fees worth 39.654 million manats (8.4 percent).

In January-August 2019, insurance companies operating in Azerbaijan collected premiums worth 469.799 million manats (a decline of 9.1 percent for the year), payments for the same period amounted to 175.473 million manats (an increase of 4.1 percent for the year).

The results of the activity of insurance companies in January-August 2019 have been announced by the Azerbaijan Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FIMSA).
