Azerbaijani population’s nominal income up

Azerbaijan’s nominal GDP amounted to over 58.5 billion manat ($34.4 billion) in late September 2019, which is 1.2 percent more than in late September 2018, Trend reports referring to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).

GDP in the non-oil sector grew by 6.8 percent for the year and amounted to over 31.1 billion manat ($18.3 billion).

Investments in fixed assets amounted to 10.1 billion manat ($5.9 billion) from January through September 2019, which is 2,500 manat ($1,470) less than in the same period of 2018.

For the reporting period, the nominal income of the population increased by 6.3 percent for the year and amounted to 42.2 billion manat ($24.8 billion).

The average annual consumer price index was 2.6 percent from January through September 2019.
