From January through September 2019, Azerbaijan’s International Bank ranked first in terms of the loan portfolio volume in the country, Trend reports referring to the bank’s financial report.
The bank’s loan portfolio amounted to 2.2 billion manat ($1.3 billion).
Kapital Bank took the second position in the ranking with a total loan portfolio volume of 1.7 billion manat ($1 billion).
Xalq Bank ranks third with a loan portfolio of 1.5 billion manat ($922.2 million).
The total loan portfolio of the first three banks is 5.5 billion manat ($3.2 billion), which is slightly less than half (40.4 percent) of the total volume of all banks in Azerbaijan.

The total loan portfolio of 15 leading banks amounted to 10.5 billion manat ($6.1 billion). The average loan portfolio of the first 15 banks amounted to 438.3 million manat ($256.8 million).
