A new agricultural project is being prepared in the city of Tskhaltubo, the administrative center of the Tskhaltubo region, Trend reports citing the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia.
“We will have visitors, and the demand will require the supply of high-quality local products. We are launching a new project - the creation of a greenhouse,” said Levan Davitashvili, Georgian Minister of Environment and Agriculture.
As a result, new tourist opportunities will appear in the city of Tskhaltubo.
The creation of the greenhouse aims to increase revenue and expand access to new market.
Davitashvili visited Tskaltubo, where he examined the modern greenhouse created by Herbia Ltd.
In the coming days, a tender will be announced for the procurement of design and consulting services, which will present the greenhouse development concept and the master plan, according to which the winning company will begin to carry out relevant work.
Herbia Ltd, with financial support from the state, has created a modern greenhouse with various herbs in Tskhalubo. The total project cost is three million lari ($1 million).
Currently, 150 people work in the greenhouse.
