Egyptian Solyphar pharmaceutical company will participate in construction of Uzbekistan’s pharmaceutical plant in Bustonlik-Farm, Trend reports via Uzbek media.
Deputy Mayor of Tashkent Region Jamshid Abdusalomov and executive director of Egyptian Solyphar pharmaceutical company Omar Abd al-Alim signed an agreement on implementation of the project in the territory of Bustonlik Farm free economic zone.
The project is planned to be implemented in three stages on an area of 80,000 square meters. The estimated amount of investment in the production of pharmaceutical products will be about $20 million.
The representative of Egyptian pharmaceutical company also had a meeting with director of Agency on development of pharmaceutical branch of Uzbekistan Sardor Kariyev.
During the meeting, the parties exchanged detailed information about the project and discussed issues of interest to them. The project will be implemented under partnership and control of German company IQC pharmaceutical developments.
President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a resolution on establishing innovative scientific-production pharmaceutical cluster Tashkent Pharma Park in Kibray district of Tashkent region on January 28, 2020.
