The Central Insurance Company of Iran intends to sign a contract with Azerbaijan and Turkey to upgrade and develop insurance and reinsurance cooperation, Director General of Central Insurance of Iran Gholamreza Soleymani told Trend
According to Soleymani, a draft insurance cooperation contract has been prepared for the development of technical and special cooperation with both countries.
Soleymani added that establishment of insurance and reinsurance companies with joint investment, direct or indirect investment of insurers in the insurance market, insurance statistics, development of life insurance, assessment of injuries, the use of information technology in the insurance sector, exchange of experience on resource investing and control methods will be reflected in the contract
Improvement of technical knowledge of insurance specialists through seminars, specialist trips or training courses, cooperation on land borders for passenger and transport insurance is also proposed within the cooperation of other parties to this contract, said the official.
