The volume of Azerbaijan's import from 5 main trading partner countries amounted to $2.5 billion from January through May 2020, and made up 60.1 percent of the country’s total import, Trend reports citing the report of the State Customs Committee (SCC).
At the same time, Russia has retained the status of biggest exporter of goods to Azerbaijan, by increasing the volume of export to Azerbaijan up to $769.4 million with a specific share of 18.5 percent.
Russia is followed by Turkey - $614 million (14.75 percent), China - $541.2 million (13 percent), the US - $358.2 million (8.6 percent) and Germany - $221.7 million (5.3 percent).

In general, Azerbaijan’s import decreased by 28.6 percent over the year and stood at $4.1 billion.
