The inflation was 22.5 percent in the third month of the current Iranian year (May 21-June 20, 2020), Trend reports referring to the Iranian Statistical Center’s report.
The report shows that families spent an average of 22.5 percent more on some products and services compared to the same month of last Iranian year.
“The inflation was 22.7 percent in the cities and 21.1 percent in the rural areas,” the report said.
The inflation in food, beverages and tobacco products in Iran was 14.9 percent, while in the non-food and services sector was 26.4 percent, according to the report.
