More than $2.1 billion worth foreign investments have been attracted in Iran's industrial parks, in the last Iranian year (from March 21, 2019 to March 20, 2020), Trend reports citing Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade of Iran.
According to the report, a total of 231 foreign investors have been attracted to Iran's industrial parks.
“With these foreign investments, 19,800 people were employment in Iran's industrial parks,” the report said.
About 1,100 enterprises that are operating in Iran's industrial parks on exports exported products worth $12.6 billion, according to the report.
Iran has signed memorandums of cooperation with 23 countries to develop international cooperation in small and medium-sized industries, the report noted.
